 Choosing a Church to attend is a hard thing to do...especially in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There are so many kinds of churches to choose from, ranging from the mega churches meeting in large convention center halls to the smallest, meeting in living rooms. For most people who have children, they are the major concern. Often the choice boils down to a place where kids can have lots of razzel-dazzel or a place where intergenerational relationships can be built which will last for a life time. ...an interdenominational church where people from many denominations meet to form a spiritual bond. The blending of so many backgrounds provide a rich opportunity to grow in faith and Christian service. Life Park has a Bible- based orientation which provides direction and vitality. We believe in the old axiom, “No book but the Bible, No Creed but Christ” From this well-spring of thought, (that folks from different denominational backgrounds can come together to make a great church family), Life Park builds upon loving, unconditional relationships, and a sense of mutual loyalty that helps all members succeed in this journey of life.Life Park Christian Fellowship (LPCF) is currently located in the spacious facilities of the West Highlands Shopping Center at the corner of 61st and West 33rd Avenue. This is only a temporary location, however, while our new building is erected on the beautiful acreage at the northwest corner of South 61st Street and Union Ave. This pristine setting provides a park-like environment which will house our new facility. Anticipated completion of the new facility is sometime early in 2009. A Park What better setting for a church than a park or garden. A “PARK” presents the idea of “LIFE;” flora and fauna, and the sounds of children playing and having a good time. The name “Life Park” was specifically chosen to encapsulate the concepts of “life,” “beauty,” and “joy.” We believe that a church, like a park, exists for the benefit of the community. It is our hope that the beautiful lake and adventurous paths that crisscrosses the acreage will provide many good times and good memories for the children growing up in our community. With core values that reflect both strong biblical training and the maximum stewardship and enjoyment of God’s beautiful creation, we truly reflect a different approach to the meaning of CHURCH.
